Cement screw conveyors are a specific type of screw conveyor specially used for conveying and processing cement and similar materials. It is usually used in cement production lines, concrete batching plants, construction sites and other places to transport granular or powdered materials such as cement, limestone powder, slag powder, etc. from one place to another.
A helical screw conveyor is mainly used for cement conveying in mixing plants. It has good overall rigidity and large load-bearing capacity. During conveying, it can be continuously conveyed whether it is horizontal conveying or large inclination angle, and the working position and working state can be selected at will. It is convenient to disassemble and repair, safe and reliable. The machine has a small screw diameter, high speed, large conveying capacity, high precision and good conveying conditions.
Working Principle
The conveying principle of cement screw conveyor is basically the same as that of general multi screw conveyor: that is, just like a rotating screw shaft drives a nut to move along its axial direction, the screw body is equivalent to the screw shaft, and the material is equivalent to the screw pipe conveyor nut. When the screw body rotates continuously, the material is also continuously conveyed.
1. Feeding: Cement is fed into the spiral blades of the conveyor from the feed port.
2. Rotational transport: Once the cement enters the spiral blades, the spiral begins to rotate. The rotation pushes the cement forward along the conveyor pipe.
3. Pushing materials: The rotation of the spiral blades pushes the cement to the discharge port of the conveyor, forming a continuous flow along the pipe of the conveyor.
4. Conveying process: During the conveying process, the cement is pushed by the spiral blades and restricted by the pipe wall, and remains inside the pipe, avoiding the scattering and waste of materials.
5. Discharging: Finally, the cement is transported to the destination through the discharge port, which can be another container, another section of the conveyor, or the next process in the production line.
