Structural analysis of planetary pan mixers

●Vertical shaft planetary concrete mixers are mainly composed of mixing tanks, mixing devices, drive devices, planetary gear trains, scrapers, unloading devices, sealing devices, water supply systems and frames, among which the mixing device is composed of mixing arms.

● The mixing device of the planetary concrete mixer host consists of 2 sets of mixing arms and 2 side scraper arms. Each mixing arm is equipped with a mixing shovel. During the mixing process, the concrete particles are subjected to thrust in the direction perpendicular to the mixing shovel.

● The shovel is an inclined surface, so that the material particles move in a circle in the mixing tank and move toward the top of the mixing tank. Since the shovel is located at the bottom of the mixing tank, the material located at the side arm of the mixing tank cannot be stirred by the shovel.

● Therefore, the center frame is equipped with a side scraper arm, which moves in a circular motion with the center frame to scrape off the material particles adsorbed on the side arm of the mixing cylinder.

The mixing device of the planetary concrete mixer is installed on the two planetary gears of the planetary gear system, and the sun gear is fixedly installed on the frame. The driving motor drives the center frame to rotate. The planetary gear installed on the center frame moves in a circular motion with the center frame on the one hand, and on the other hand, because the planetary gear is meshed with the sun gear, the planetary gear also moves in a circular motion along its own axis at the same time.
