Structure

The concrete mixer truck consists of a truck chassis and a special device for concrete mixing and transportation.

The special device for concrete mixing and transportation mainly includes a power take-off device, a hydraulic system, a reducer, a mixing drum, an operating mechanism, a cleaning system, etc.

The working principle is: the power of the chassis is taken out through the power take-off device, and the variable pump of the hydraulic system is driven to convert the mechanical energy into hydraulic energy and transmit it to the quantitative motor. The motor then drives the reducer, and the reducer drives the mixing device to mix the concrete.

(I) Power Take-off Device

The function of the power take-off device is to take out the engine power by operating the power take-off switch, and drive the mixing drum through the hydraulic system. The mixing tank rotates forward during the feeding and transportation process to facilitate feeding and mixing of concrete, and rotates in the opposite direction during discharging. After the work is completed, the power connection with the engine is cut off.

(II) Hydraulic System

The engine power taken out through the power take-off device is converted into hydraulic energy, and then output as mechanical energy through the motor to provide direct power for the rotation of the mixer drum.

(III) Reducer

The function of the reducer is to reduce the speed output by the motor in the hydraulic system and transmit it to the mixer tank.

(IV) Mixing Device

The mixing device mainly includes a mixer tank, a loading mechanism and a discharging mechanism.

1. Mixing drum

The mixing drum is the main special equipment of the commercial concrete transit mixer truck. Its structural shape directly affects the transportation and mixing quality of concrete, as well as the feeding and discharging speed. The mixer drum is supported on three fulcrums on different planes, and the axis of the mixer drum is inclined to the frame (horizontal line) at an angle, usually 16°~20°.

The working process of the mixing drum is: when the mixing drum rotates clockwise, the drum wall and the blades make the mixture move along the spiral direction of the spiral blade (towards the bottom of the drum) while continuously lifting and falling down, and the mixture at the bottom of the mixing drum, under the action of the end wall, rolls upward, so that the mixture is stirred more strongly. When the mixing drum rotates counterclockwise, the spiral direction is upward, and the spiral blade pushes the concrete mixture upward and discharges it from the material port. In order to facilitate feeding and uniform discharging, a guide pipe is installed in the material port. The mixture enters the mixing drum from the inner wall of the guide pipe and is discharged along the outer wall of the guide pipe.

2. Loading and unloading mechanism

The loading and unloading mechanism is installed at one end of the mixing drum material port. The upper edge of the hopper wall of the commercial concrete transport truck is hinged to the bracket with a pin. The feed port at the bottom of the feed hopper fits with the feed guide pipe port to prevent concrete from overflowing during feeding. The feed hopper can also be flipped upward around the hinge to expose the material port of the mixing drum for cleaning. On the brackets on both sides of the mixing drum material port, there are fixed unloading troughs, and a movable unloading trough is installed below it. The movable unloading trough can change the inclination angle through the adjustment rod, so it can adapt to the requirements of different unloading positions.

The characteristics of a concrete transport tanker are that it can maintain uniform quality of concrete without bleeding, stratification, segregation and premature setting under the condition of large transportation volume and long transportation distance. It is suitable for the construction of roads, airports, water conservancy projects and large-scale construction projects, and is an indispensable equipment for the development of commercial concrete.

As a supporting transportation machinery for concrete factories or concrete batching plants, mixer trucks connect concrete factories and concrete mixing plants with many construction sites. If used in conjunction with concrete delivery pumps, "relay" delivery is carried out at the construction site, and the intermediate turnover of manpower is completely eliminated, and the concrete can be continuously delivered to the construction pouring point, realizing high efficiency and full mechanization of concrete delivery. This not only greatly improves labor productivity and construction quality, but also facilitates civilized construction on site, and shows its superiority for urban construction, especially narrow construction sites.
