In order to meet the demand for concrete in various construction projects such as roads, railways, ports, bridges, etc., concrete mixing stations have become the unanimous choice of many concrete merchants. Building a station is easy, but product selection is a difficult point. Today, I will share with you some basic knowledge about concrete mixing stations! Concrete mixing stations are composed of batching system (concrete batching machine), weighing system, conveying system (inclined belt conveyor or lifting hopper), mixing system (concrete mixer), control system, powder storage system, etc., so let's take a closer look.

1. Mixing system
The mixing system refers to the main concrete mixing machine, which uses a forced twin-shaft concrete mixer. It is also the mainstream machinery used in mixing stations at home and abroad. It can mix various types of concrete such as semi-dry and dry hard. Forced mixers are divided into main shaft planetary mixers, single-shaft mixers and twin-shaft mixers according to their structural forms. The main machine used by Tianyu Machinery is a twin-shaft forced mixer, and its comprehensive performance and purchase frequency are also popular.
2. Material weighing system
The material weighing system is mainly divided into three parts: aggregate weighing, powder weighing and liquid weighing. All weighings are controlled by electronic scales and microcomputers, with accurate weighing, fast speed and high efficiency, and automatic correction and error alarm systems.
3. Material conveying system
Material conveying consists of three parts: aggregate conveying, powder conveying and liquid conveying.
a. Aggregate conveying; At present, there are two ways of conveying in mixing stations: hopper conveying and belt conveying. The advantages of hopper lifting are small footprint and simple structure. The advantages of belt conveying are large conveying distance, high efficiency and low failure rate. It is mainly suitable for mixing stations with aggregate waiting silos, which can improve the productivity of mixing stations.
b. Powder conveying; The powder materials available for concrete are mainly cement, fly ash and mineral powder. The commonly used powder conveying method at present is screw conveyor conveying, and large mixing plants use pneumatic conveying and scraper conveying. The advantages of screw conveying are simple structure, low cost and reliable use.
c. Liquid conveying mainly refers to water and liquid admixtures, which are respectively conveyed by water pumps.
4. Operation control system
The operation control system of the mixing station is the central nervous system of the whole set of equipment. The control system has different functions and configurations according to user requirements and the size of the mixing station. Generally speaking, the control system of small mixing stations available on the construction site is simpler, while the system of large mixing stations is relatively complex.
5. Material storage system
The material storage methods available for concrete are basically the same. Some stations have open-air aggregate storage, and some large commercial concrete mixing stations use closed silos, which can be selected according to their own needs; powder materials are stored in fully enclosed steel structure cement silos; admixtures are stored in steel structure containers.
